The Grump-Off
Two manuls, one question, one tap. A round is ten pairs and takes under a minute. The crowd’s verdict is revealed only after yours; the scores, never.
Every call is judged by the Council of Elders, once the steppe has made up its mind.
Choose your game
Presiding: a manul with its eyes shut, consulting the Oracle’s crystal.
Rules of the Grump-Off
- Choose the manul that better answers the question. Trust your first impression.
- If the two are genuinely indistinguishable, the committee accepts “equally”. It does not encourage it.
- Scores are kept from you, so that nobody is nudged.
- In Prophecy you do not say what you think; you say what the steppe will think. It moves no scores. The Council judges it once the scores settle.
